Zambia demographics

The demographics of Zambia is full of diversity. There are many ethnic groups present in Zambia. Among the entire population, 21% are Bemba, 13.6% are Tonga, 7.4% are Chewa, 5.7% are Lozi, 5.3% are Nsenga, 4.4% are Tumbaka, 4% are Ngoni, 3.1% is Lala, 2.9% are Kaonde, and the rest of the population are from several different ethnic groups. So there is a huge diversity in the demographics.

Zambia has English as the official language. Two other main local languages are Bemba and Nyanja.
