Yemen demographics
The demographics of Yemen is quite interesting. 92.8% of the population of Yemen are Arabians, while 3.7% are Somalians, 1.1% are Afro-Arabians. The country is an Arabian sovereign state. So, it’s obvious that the main language of the country is Arabic. Urdu is also the second language of this country, and a small number of people speak in this language. Arabic is recorded as the official language of Yemen. 46% of people of the population are under the age of 15. Yemen has a high fertility rate, which is 4.45 children per woman.
Yemen religion and politics
The main religion of the country is Islam. There are various divisions among the Muslims of Yemen. 55% are Sunni Islam, while 45% is Shia Islam. The rest are from other different divisions.
In the field of politics, Yemen has a bicameral legislature. Yemen has a president who is elected through election every 5 years. The prime minister of Yemen has the authority to control the government. This country has a Supreme Political Council which is located in Sana’a. This organization controls most of the political affairs.

Yemen produces an amount of 28.52 billion as GDP every year. This is the 103rd largest economy in the world.
