Western Sahara’s economy is mainly based on mining, fishing, and tourism. Due to lack of rainfall and water resources, agriculture is difficult, and most of the foods are imported. The Moroccan government directs all the economic activities. The government offers subsidies on basic goods to the citizens to relocate to their territory.
