Tonga Demographics

Tongans are a combination of Melanesian and Polynesian. They are in the majority here, with 98 percent of the overall Tonga population. Mixed Tongans come to about 1.5 percent. British Europeans, Pacific Islanders, and mixed Europeans are the remaining ones.
