Thailand religion and politics
There is no official state religion available in Thailand. There is religious freedom present in Thailand. However, the king by the law must follow the faith Theravada Buddhists. Hence the major religion in Thailand is Buddhism. There are also other religions present such as Hinduism, followed by the class of Brahmins. The Thai Chinese people in Thailand follow the Chinese religion like Taoism. Furthermore, there are also significant numbers of the Muslim population.
Thailand follows the framework of constitutional monarchy. The prime minister is the head of the government, and the monarch is the head of the state. Thailand is at the moment under the rule of a military organization termed as the National Council for Peace and Order. It is controlling the national administrations.
