Tanzania religion and politics
The country’s dominant religion is Christianity and Islam. Some populations follow the traditional African religion. Some people in the country follow multiple religions, so religious identity is ambiguous. The largest denomination of Christianity is Roman Catholicism. There are also active communities of the population following Hinduism, Buddhism, and Bahá’ís.
The country is a one-party dominant region. The dominant party is Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM). The other party, which is called the main opposition party, is Civil United Front (CUF).

The economy of the country is stable because of aspects such as tourism, telecommunications, banking sector. But hunger and poverty are the major crisis in Tanzania amidst economic growth.
