Nepal Demographics

Nepal has always extended warm hands to the refugees. Mostly, the Tibetans and Bhutanese refugees have occupied a large part of the population in Nepal. The Nepal government provides the third-country facilities to the refugees.

Most of the people of Nepal are of Chhetri, Bahun, Magar, and Tharu origins. There are many more tribal origins and tribes in Nepal. 16.6% of people of Nepal are from the Chhetri community, while 12.2% are from Bahun, and 7.1% are from the Magar community.
