Kuwait Demographics

Expatriates make up 70% of the population of Kuwait. The ex-pat community includes Indians and the Egyptians. The population in Kuwait under the age of 15 is 25.32%, between the age of 15 and 24 is 15.21%. The people living in the country between the age of 25 and 54 are 52.32%. 4.82 % are the people who fall in the range of 55 and 64 years, and only 2.33% of the population is 65 or more than that. Twenty-nine years is presently the median age in the country.

Kuwait Religion And Politics

Muslim is the official language of the country. Most of the people are Muslims. But there are also other communities in the country, and this includes Christians, Hindus, and Buddhists. It has a low maternal and infant mortality rate, and life expectancy is on the higher side.

Kuwait has a wealthy and stable economy, which is based on petroleum. The currency (Kuwait Dinar) has the highest value in the world. Kuwait is one of the fourth richest countries in the world, having the largest reserves of oil. It is also a member of the League of the Arab States and the Gulf Cooperation Council.
