Iran, life expectancy is estimated to be 77.33 years. The number of males is 42,408,406, which is 50.49 percent of the total population. On the other hand, the number of females is 41,584,547, which is 49.51 percent of the total population. This makes the ratio of sex that is males to females 1.02.
Iran Religion and Politics
Iran has the population mostly consists of Shia, which is one of the branches in the Islamic religion. In Iran, around 90 to 95 percent population follow the Shia. Around 5 to 10 percent population follow Sunni, which is another branch of Islam. Approximately 0.6 percent are into other minorities’ religions such as Yarsanis, Zoroastrians, etc.
Iran is a democratic republic in which president, the judicial system, parliament, and many others are elected as per the constitution after being vetted by, the Guardian council.

The economy of Iran is a mixed economy in the transition phase having a large public sector. Having great oil reserves is considered to be a superpower in energy. The GDP in 2020 has been 4.3 %, and in the coming years, it was expecting to have much better growth.
