Ghana Demographics

Ninety-eight percent of Ghana’s population are Black Africans. In ethnicity, the largest group is the Ashanti individuals. About 49.1 percent are females, and 50.9 percent are males. The leading ethnic groups are Dagbani, Akan, Ga-Adangbe, Ewe, Guan, Gurma, Bissa, and Gurunsi. The majority of them are Akan -47.5 percent. Asante, Fante, Ewe, Dagarte, Boron, Dangme, Dagomba, Akyem, Kokomba, and Ga are common languages of Ghana along with English.

Ghana Religion and Politics

Around 71 percent of Ghana’s population are Christians, and 17 percent of them are Muslim. The country, however, accepts all the faiths.

Ghana is a rich and diverse base of resources. The resources are exports and manufacturing of digital tech goods, shipbuilding, automotive construction, and exportation of Hydrocarbon and other industrial minerals. They have added to the highest per capita GDA to Ghana. It has become the quickest developing economy on the globe.
