Eswatini also called as Swaziland is the landlocked country located in Southern Africa. The population of the country is mainly composed of the Swazis, who are the ethnic group of the country. There are seven nature reserves in the country to safeguard rich bird species and plants. There are white, black vultures, cape vultures, etc. There are also other raptors such as Martial eagles, long-crested eagles, and it is the nesting site of the marabou stork.

Eswatini religion and politics 

Many of the people follow the Christian faith in Eswatini. There are denominations such as Anglicans, Protestants, indigenous churches, and Roman Catholics. The other non-Christian religions are Islam, Bahá’í, Jewish, and Hinduism. Ellinah Wamukoya was chosen as the Anglican Bishop of Swaziland, who is the first woman to become a bishop in the African continent. Swaziland does not recognize Islamic rite’s marriages and non-civil weddings.

The country is an absolute monarchy. There are specialized laws and customs. Traditionally the king, along with his mother, is considered as the head of the state. The queen’s mother is the spiritual head, but now the status has become symbolic. The king has the power to appoint the prime minister and also the legislators. The king is also allowed to appoint the members of the parliament.

Eswatini economy 

The economy of this country is considered diverse. Agriculture and mining make up 13% of the GDP. Many of the population are involved in agriculture in the Swazi Nation land. It has got large productivity in textile manufacturing and agriculture industries.
