Forestry, farming, and fishing are the main occupation in Equatorial Guinea. They are the main components of gross domestic products (GDP). Earlier the economy was dependent on cocoa and coffee. However, after the discovery of oil reserves in 1980, the country began to depend on petroleum. The country uses Central African CFA Franc. They have a GDP of $13.32 billion. The GDP per capita income is 10,602.30, while the GDP per capita PPP is 20,864.30
