Egypt Population History
There was a boom in population from 1970-2010. This was because of the medical fields and agricultural productivity advancements. These advancements were possible because of the Green Revolution. Only 3 million population was there during the invasion of Napoleon in 1798 in Egypt. There have been raises and falls in population due to erratic situations.

Egypt Demographics
91 percent of the overall population is by Ethnic Egyptians. Abaza’s, Turks, Bedouin Arab tribes, and Greeks are the largest and leading ethnic minorities in the eastern deserts and the Sinai Peninsula. The Nubian inhabit along the Nile, and Siwis inhabit in the Siwa Oasis.
Arabic is the official Egyptian language. French and English are the other widely known languages by the upper classes in Egypt.
The density of the population is 103/km2 in Egypt. The total region of land is 995,450 km2. About 43.0 percent is the urban population in Egypt. In Egypt, 24.6 yrs. is the median age.
Egypt Religion and Politics
Social life and law are having control of religion in several aspects. Islam is the religion of the state of Egypt. Religion is excluded since the 2006 census. Sunni Muslims are the majority in the country, contributing to 90 percent, while the subsequent largest religion followed are Coptic Christians, which comes to 10 percent. Under 200 individuals follow Judaism. Some are from the Bahai Community. Christians and Muslims have a common historical past, ethnicity, national identity, culture, race, and language in Egypt.

The primary Egyptian economy is based on tourism, agriculture, Petroleum imports, and natural gas. 3.8 percent of GDP contributes to overall educational expenditures by 2008. 6.4 percent of GDP is contributed by health expenditures by 2009.
