Bahamas demographics

Though the Bahamas is not a huge country in size, it has several ethnic groups among the entire population. 92.7% of the population are Afro-Bahamian, 4.7% are European, 1.9% are American, and 2.1% belong to mixed ethnicity. The Bahamas has a parliamentary Constitution, and the Queen of Bahamas is the chief of the parliament. The prime minister controls the government in the Bahamas. There is a two-party system noticed in this country, and people choose the ruling party by-elections.
